TheTradescantia is one of my all-time favourite types of plant! They are easy to care for, add a great pop of colour, and are vigorous growers!
Plant Care
Light:Bright indirect light,can tolerate lower light, but won’t grow as well or give you as many lovely colours. The Nanouk can also tolerate a bit of direct sun but not too much or you risk scorching the leaves.
Watering:Water when the top inch of the soil is dry. This plant likes to be moist but don’t overwater.
Temperature:15-27C is ideal, but it can tolerate down to10C
Potting:A well-draining and moisture-retaining mix is best. TheThirst Trapmix is a good fit.
Hot tips:Tradescantia is an easily propagated plant, which is great as they only havea short life span, so be sure to take cuttings, and your plant will live on forever!
