A vibrant and elegant twist on the classic blue sage, Salvia x sylvestris ‘Rose Queen’ has an exceptionally long flowering season. From early summer right through to early autumn, it produces dense, upright spikes of vivid rose-pink flowers that emerge from dark reddish-pink buds.
The striking blooms rise above a neat, clump-forming mound of aromatic, grey-green foliage. This hardy perennial is ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens, and cottage garden schemes, acting as a magnet for bees and butterflies. It often provides a second flush of blooms if cut back after the first flowering.
