A magnificent suckering plant, with slightly fragrant purplish-rose flowers are followed by edible red fruits and are produced on erect stems clothed with large, green leaves. Excellent for growing in difficult positions.
April-May flowering. Deciduous shrub. Will grow in sun or semi-shade in most garden soils. 2.4m x 2.4m (8′ x 8′).
