Jasminum polyanthum / P21 – 3 cane pyr
Jasminum polyanthum is a vigorous, tender, evergreen twining climber prized for masses of intensely fragrant, starry white flowers that open from pink buds in late winter to early spring. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Give it full sun to light shade and fertile, well-drained soil; it thrives in a bright, frost-free conservatory or a very sheltered outdoor position. With suitable care, it can reach around 6m in height and approximately 2m in spread across its support at maturity.
This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall).
