The steering bracket roller is a replacement part that is made by Hayward using the same high-quality materials that are used to manufacture the original factory parts, making this steering bracket roller a genuine OEM Hayward product.
The steering bracket roller provides these cleaners with the ability to not only maneuver around the surface of the pool, it also helps create a reverse mode – keeping the cleaner out of any trouble spots like drains or steps. The steering cam also helps by initiating the reverse mode as it rotates and reaches its starting point.
The roller is black and is long enough to reach each gear inside the outer edges of thewheel hubs. The reverse mechanism is white and rests near the end of the cam gear on the left side of the cleaners lower body.
