- Ficus radicans is a fast-growing, tropical plant with papery leaves that are marked with white. It’s also known as the variegated creeping fig. Growing conditions
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade
- Temperature: Prefers temperatures of 20C and above
- Humidity: Prefers humidity of 60% or more
- Soil: Prefers moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil
- Watering: Water daily, or when the soil is completely dry
- Fertilizer: Use a general purpose fertilizer every 15 days
- Location: Avoid frequent changes in location, as this can cause the plant to drop leaves
Uses
- Can be grown as a houseplant or in a terrarium
- Can be used in hanging baskets and vivaria
Care
- Overwatering and underwatering can both be detrimental to the plant
