The Sycamore is a majestic shade tree, FAST-GROWING, yet has strong branches which don’t often break up in ice, snow or wind.
Our Sycamore at the front of our nursery garden was planted in 1989. It was 7-8′ tall when planted and its over 50′ now!
Trees develop a beautiful, creamy white, smooth bark within only a couple of years after planting.
Sycamores produce round seed pods in winter which simply blow away in winter – They do NOT fall to the ground like Sweetgum balls!
