Dragon Tongue Bean

60 days. A horticultural type bush bean, Dragon Tongue is probably the best multipurpose bean available. Its suited to use as a fresh snap bean or as a shelled bean when fully mature. As a snap, harvest when the flat beans turn from lime green to buffed yellow with bright purple stripes. If dried beans are desired, let pods fully mature. Expect 2430 inch tall plants. Light brown seeds with dark mottling; 85 per ounce.
