Miss Bateman is a compact deciduous climbing perennialvine with light green foliage that flowers in two waves. The flowers are white striped with a green that becomes pure white as it ages with the firstwave in late springto summer. Deadhead to encourage the second wavein late summer to fall. Prefersfull sunand moist well-drained soil. Needs support.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low Maintenance. Susceptible to wilt and stem rot, which can be fatal. Other potential diseases include powdery mildew, leaf spots, and rust. Potential insect pests include aphids, vine weevils, slugs/snails, scale and earwigs. Watch for spider mites. If possible, plant the roots in the area with afternoon shade and climb the foliage into full sun for best results.
