The IstaBreeze WindSafe 2000 is built for long-term professional use in difficult, unattended conditions. Its defining feature is a revolutionary self-protection system: the rotor sits on a movable platform that automatically raises the entire structure by 90 degrees in gusts or strong wind, angling the blades away from the wind to reduce frontal load and rotation. This is a structural protection mechanism, not a software settingit protects the turbine mechanically even during unattended operation.

- 3-blade (standard): Better for sites averaging 67 m/s or highermore efficient in strong, steady wind.
- 5-blade (low-wind): For consistently low, irregular wind under 5 m/s. Starts earlier at low speeds but loses up to 35% output at higher speeds.
